For The First Time In Beacon Light Academy-
The students of Commerce took an initiative in order to showcase their skills and ideas through
“COMFEST’22”
The efforts for the comfest have been going through for the past 2 weeks and so the day finally arises on 10 November ‘2022
It began with a live intellectual session between the students of Science and Commerce in the assembly which was an intricated one as both the teams tried to prove themselves superior the rap by Rana Shaheer was also a savage reply though at the end of the rebuttal the conclusion given by Sarim and Warisha portrayed the interdependence between the two fields.
The Exhibition took place in the auditorium which was well equipped with many projects and the currency hangings all over depicted the theme “money”
The Exhibition finally began with an opening ceremony of the ribbon cutting. The students of 9 and 10 performed a skit on the “Barter System”.
Moving forward students of commerce presented their Creativity by displaying different models, theories, and games. Students of Grade 11 exhibited Accounting degrees, Balance Sheet visual representation, and interviews simulation were also carried out. Students of Grades 9 & 10 displayed unemployment, depreciation, sectors of the economy, the accounting Cycle, and many more amazing displays. There was a separate section for Young Entrepreneurs where students were guided about investing in Crypto, Stock exchange, and Consultancy for Business ideas. All the teachers visited the exhibition including
Ma’am Yasmin Qazi, Ma’am Azra, Ma’am Farkhanda, Ma’am Huma, and Ma’am Andaleeb joined us as honored guests.
In the end, The teachers also played a game of “Balloon Saving” which was the best part and I was not able to resist my laughter at that. Ms.Hania came up as a winner and Ms.Sobia and Ms.Andaleeb were runner-ups.
The students of commerce celebrated their successful event with a 5 minutes dance. It was good to see that our Hardwork Brought colors to the first Com’Fest of our school.
Commerce Students did set up a benchmark that they are worthy enough to be appreciated and this would not have been done without the support of Ms.Ana, Ms.Ikrah, and Ms.Ruba.
“Commerce exists in every household, every city, and in every corner where potential is obtained.”
