XI – E
The Ticking Fate
Clock’s ticking… Tick-Tock!
In the dimly lit room, Sam’s pulse races as he drags the lifeless body across the floor. Sweat beads on his forehead, his mind spinning. The door creaks louder than his panicked breaths. Ten minutes! He glances at the window — no escape. Hands fumble for a weapon, to silence the screaming seconds… The body, still warm, is his unbearable burden. He shoves it into the bag, struggling to stay calm. Outside, a siren wails… He’s running out of time! A mistake now could cost him everything — his life, his freedom. The body is now his undoing.
