Take a moment and imagine, what would your life look like if you had no fear. What would you
do if you knew you’re perfect in every way. Would you ever believe that fears exist? It’s not that
difficult to imagine, it will alter your life initially.
I believe that fear plays a vital role in our lives. It is an obstacle that holds people back from
chasing their dreams or fulfilling their wishes wholeheartedly. A fear stops thousands of people
from becoming the new and the best version of themselves.
As a human, I also, have many fears, but losing scares me the most. I have a fear
of losing the challenges and not having enough courage to accept my defeat. This fear is also
known as “atychiphobia” which is not just a matter of time but the failure brings up a huge
impact on our minds and in our lives. The fear of failing is absolutely immobilizing. The fact is
we all have some different definitions of defeat or failure because we all have different
goals, benchmarks and beliefs.
Every person at least once in their life, experience the worst of being failed but we all, however,
have to accept the defeat because it’s almost impossible to go through life without getting into
difficult situations or experiencing failure. Taking that situation positively and having
faith in Allah can only help you get out of that problem.
There’s one wonderful thing about failure: it entirely depends on how we deal with it.
Whenever I’m defeated or I fail to reach up to the benchmark I set, I feel like losing control of
myself but, the only thing that pushes me up is my faith in Allah. And I choose to look for the
reason I’m meant to learn. I keep learning how to get rid of the same mistakes that I do.
The reality is, most of us will stumble, shiver, and fall in life. Doors will get slammed on our faces,
we’ll get insulted, and then we might make some bad decisions that might lead us to “not so
good path” but imagine if Richard Branson had listened to all those people who told him that
he would never do anything worthwhile, he would never have been an owner of the virgin
empire, the high school dropout.
It’s important to realize that for every task we perform, there’s always a chance that we’ll get fail
but facing that chance and embracing it, it’s not less than a courageous thing itself. It gives us
potential rewards and great learning.
