This past weekend, the prestigious Mera Brand Pakistan 2025 exhibition was held on January 17 ,18, 19, 2025, at the Expo Center, Karachi.
The students from XI-C visited.
The event successfully showcased the diversity, excellence, and innovation of Pakistani products, providing a platform to celebrate the nation\u2019s craftsmanship and ingenuity.

Completely Missing Products
Certain products are entirely absent from local production, leaving Pakistan dependent on imports:

Cosmetics: High-end brands like MAC, NARS, and Maybelline dominate.
Food & Beverages: Maple syrup, almond butter, and organic honey are imported.
Gaming Consoles: No local production of PlayStation or Xbox.
Smartphones: High-end models like Apple iPhones and Samsung Galaxy.
Home Appliances: Premium refrigerators and washing machines by brands like Samsung and LG.
Products with Limited Local Production
Some products are available locally but lack the variety, quality, or production scale needed to compete with imports:

Personal Care: Waterproof mascaras and luxury body lotions (imported brands dominate).
Food & Beverages: Organic green teas, premium cheeses, and Greek yogurt.
Health & Medicine: Anti-anxiety supplements (limited local alternatives).
