The Unexpected Visitor<\/p>\n
It was almost midnight when someone knocked loudly on the door. Everyone in my house was fast asleep, but I was the only one who woke up because of the strange noise. I quietly got out of my bed and walked towards the door.<\/p>\n
I looked through the window, but I could not see anyone. I slowly opened the door and saw a strange creature standing outside. It had glowing eyes, long arms and a mysterious face. I was frightened, but the creature did not hurt me. Instead, it handed me a small, shining letter.<\/p>\n
I opened the letter and started reading. It said, \u201cCome with me to my world. You will find everything you have ever wished for. You will never face sadness, hunger or problems again. But remember, only you can come. You must leave your family, your home and everything you love behind.\u201d
\nI was shocked. I looked at my house and thought about my family sleeping peacefully inside. The creature told me that I had to make my decision immediately. Although the new world sounded wonderful, I could not imagine leaving my family behind.<\/p>\n
Then, a bright light appeared behind the creature. I could see a beautiful world filled with colourful gardens, shining houses, delicious food and amazing technology. It looked like a perfect world where every wish could come true.<\/p>\n
I took one step towards the creature, but then I stopped. I thought about my family and realized that having everything in the world would mean nothing if I had no one to share it with.
\nSuddenly, I heard my mother calling my name. I opened my eyes and found myself lying in my bed. I looked around and realized that it had all been a dream.<\/p>\n
But then I noticed something on my side table.
\nIt was the same shining letter.
\nI picked it up with trembling hands. My heart began to beat faster. Maybe it had only been a dream\u2014or maybe the mysterious world was real after all.<\/p>\n
